I freelanced for World Medicine, a wonderfully wide-ranging and hard-hitting magazine, for several months before, after an internal upheaval, several contributors and the editor left. The acting editor, Mark Allen, asked me to do a column, which ran for 15 months. I also did one editorial, and a lead article on allergy laboratories from which a TV program was made - without acknowledgement to me, unfortunately! The title folded in 1984. Why the camel? See LINK
