Concert poster, Greenbelt 1985.

My wife Cynth and I posted numbers of these posters round the site to try and improve the previous year's audience.

Feeling old and jaded, I had intended this weekend's 2 sets as my swansong. In the event I turned out to be wildly popular, and had extra sets and interviews allocated including the very last set of the festival, around midnight in the Fringe & Scissors.

To this day I don't understand why I had this sudden, albeit brief, boost to my musical career. Perhaps it had something to do with my Garth Hewitt impersonation with 3 chords and heavy flanger. It was nice while it lasted, though.
